Headphones Microphone Audio Control

For windows microphone-related issues, please open the HP Audio Control application.
Launch the HP Audio Control application.
Open the audio control panel once the headphones indicate they are connected. After the audio control panel is open, select the Microphone tab. From this tab, you can adjust the input level, enable noise reduction, and confirm that your microphone is being detected properly.

If the device is not active, please ensure that your headphones are properly connected and that the input is set to active, as shown below.
 

This should be compatible with HP and Lenovo laptops.
